Here’s the Wall-e costume I hand-made.

If you haven’t seen the movie, and you are thinking, “Who or what is Wall-e?”, here’s a clip for you:

Apparently half of the people in my neighborhood have never seen the movie, because they just looked at Jonathan and I like we were crazy.  Two robots and a cockroach. Riiiight. But isn’t Walter so cute? Look at those big blues.

I also made Jonathan a roach costume (Wall-e’s friend in the movie) and I was Eve – the other robot.  Walter’s was the best, though.

We’ll see if I can get some good photos of the three of us in costume!

So, I’m back in Georgia for a quick trip to visit Becky and Cas. I’m in the middle of taking Cassi’s headshots and I turn around to see this.

I had a quick trip to Atlanta again to see my cousin Cassie, Great Aunt Becky and the rest of my Greek family.  The festival was awesome, as usual, with the one exception that my cousin Christopher was missing from the performances. He’s moved to California, and Atlanta just isn’t the same without him. The festival is a celebration of Greek food, traditional Greek dances and Greek music. Here are some of my favorite photos from the event.

These are costumes that I did for the dance group last year, from the area of Rhodes. They call them costumes, but they are really the traditional dress of a particular area in Greece. Each area has several costumes and several dances.

We’ve reached the mecca.

I wish Laurel could have been there. She started my whole Coke problem. Laurel, I blame you for the adorably cute Coca-Cola Bear photos of my son. He’s almost totally covered by the scarf. It’s like where’s Waldo, but with my kid, annnd a Coke Bear annnd Aunt Becky. Where’s Walter? Awwww. I love W names.

I watched a duuummmb 4-d movie about the “secret” ingredient in Coke with Jimmy and Sean. You get squirted in the face with water, air puffs on you and the seats move like a bad amusement park ride. Spoiler alert: Turns out the secret ingredient is “you”. As in “us”, aka coke-drinkers. Addicts. Continually purchasing Coca-Cola products just so you can hear that indescribable fizzy ahhhhhh moment, followed by a caffeine rush. Seriously. My husband jokes that the secret ingredient is battery acid.

Dumb movie aside, I still like Coke. Thanks Mr. Pemberton, for giving me something to drink instead of a morning coffee, to clean my toilets with, and to rot my teeth out.  Oh. and thanks for the cool 4-d glasses. They rock.

The Coke Museum was AWESOME. I’ll have to wait until I get to Utah to post more pictures.

Happy 4th of July!

My Uncle Sean came to Atlanta!!!! We went downtown to Centennial Park where the Olympics were, and to the CNN building, and of course the CocaCola building. 

This is what you get when you tell your family to be nice to each other. Notice Becky in the background. Haha.

And this, my friends, is Mr. Pemberton. Inventor of Coca Cola.

I love him. Becky loves him too.
